In the context of the International Day of Families in 2021, and with the objective of making the family diversity of the people who follow our work more visible, we asked our social media followers how their families are formed. This action derives from the campaign Not all families are the same (No todas las familias son iguales. Donde hay amor, hay familia), which was created in 2009 from the need to share with the Church members that the family model presented by the hierarchy of the Catholic Church is not the same one that Jesus knew and promoted, and that there is not a single or unique model for the Christian family.
Our community reacted by sending photographs and letters, which were published on CDD Mexico’s social networks, showing that “not all families are the same” and that “where there is love, there is family”.
